BM send DH a letter in the mail. (Long story for another day) But she did not put the addresses in the right place on the front of the letter. Her information is where it should be but our address is in the far right hand side at the very bottom of the envelop. At least this time she was close enough that it could actually be deliver in the past she had her address in the middle and ours on the top let side. How the hell did this women make it as far as she has in life. Up until a year ago she didn't have checks. She flat out told me she had never written a check and asked if we would take cash instead. You are an adult and a few years older then me. How have you never needed to write a check???

Anyone else's BM can't master everyday life skills? I'd love to here some good stories

She went at least 3 years without a bank account. At first she just didn't have one when she met DH and he was not stupid enough to put her on his. Then her credit was soo bad she couldn't even get a bank account.

Bm's is a nurse, and she has to take care of people--give meds and follow doctor's orders. Yet, when her children are given doctor's orders and meds, there's no way she's following them. Intentional or not, that has yet to be determined according to DH (but I know she's making sure to do what she wants, since she can't ever show up to an appointment.)

BM failed out of the community college when she was "pre-nursing" but that doesn't stop her from trying to give DH and I medical advice on anything. She was told us our son needed to be tested for (and treated while we wait for results) something because her son had it. I was like lets see if SS has it first and guess what he didn't. I was like WOW you are such a great doctor do not know what we would have done without you ooo wait we followed the actually doctors advice.

BM hasn't yet figure out how to be a productive part of society in any capacity. She's 37 years old. I don't think it's ever going to happen. A girl can dream though..

She did however just ask me to swipe a manila envelope from my office for her. Ummm. No.
