Who's name is the car in? Seeing as in most states, a minor cannot enter into any kind of contract (including a contract for sale), I am guessing either your's or your DH's. TAKE THE CAR AWAY! There is no law that says we cannot take away non-essential items from our children that we have given them when they act like total snots! A car is not an essential item at 16...it is a privilege! The haircut you cannot take back, but she wouldn't be driving that car in my house! Of course, the way SD15 treats me, it will be a cold day before I even buy her something as small as nail polish!
