I'm hoping someone can help me out. I'd like to apply for a federal job, but I have no federal resume writing experience and know they're different from any other standard resume form.
cater it to the job description. focus on the wording of the skills needed in the job description in your resume.
don't copy and paste exactly but pick out the main nouns and adjectives used and put them in your resume. i know a lot of places use a computer filter to weed through the massive applicants and they base the relevance of the application based on certain skills listed on the job description.
