Has anyone read the book, "Step-Wars"

I just finished Stepmonster which was recommended here by a few ladies. It was EXCELLENT and very helpful. I also picked up Step Wars and was wondering if anyone read it and what they thought of it. Thanks!

What is Step-monster about? Maybe that is a dumb question. I have not heard of Step Wars, can you tell us a little bit about these books? I am looknig for any helpful books or advice to help our situation with the BM in our life. Let's just say she puts the fun in dysfunctional! LOL!

Stepmonster is about the most truthful book I have read on step-parenting. It does not push SM to be "mom" etc. Basically it talks about anthropology and how it is near impossible to truly bond with Skids and we should NOT feel guilty about that. Whewww. Step-wars is strictly based on adult Skids. Now I was sm for over 20 years so not sure if this book is really for me, but I feel like I just met SD a few years ago, she has changed that much. Step-wars sounds like it is for couples remarrying after the skids are all grown and adults but there are still LOTS of problems in the "step" relationships. Haven't started the book yet, but am looking forward to it.

I have not read Step-Wars...I will check it out...I did read Ex-Wives and Ex-Lives and that was excellent! I liked it even more than Stepmonster.
