Beginning of the Easter Holidays. 'School Holiday's - anyone else absolutely dread those horrendous two words? Two words which mean you are going to be stuck with the SKIDS for more then just a couple of stress filled days then back they go to BM quick smart with a "See ya" as you wave them a relieved cheerio and break out the celebratory Prosecco.

The problem I have (amongst many)is that BM is an unorganized beeeatch, so we have the SKIDs randomly dropping by for a week here, a day there. I can't plan ahead and our life is essential on hold until they are corralled back into school where they belong. (Until the hell on toast that is the weekend comes round again....)

Then you have the "Why don't YOU take them on foreign/fancy holidays like I do?" crap rolled out by the Mother once in a while. Well we can't afford it unlike you and your family, and no I won't do any extra shifts to pay for anything that didn't come out of my vagina to go anywhere.

Ahh holidays, don't ya just love them. x
