OT - Biopsy was this morning

Ouch! It went well, they said I did a good job and hardly moved at all. Unfortunately, the "thing" was still visible so they had to go through with it. Once they shot me up with lidocaine and started taking samples, I got pretty upset and started crying. The thing sounds like a giant drill and it was pretty scary. I just started thinking about everything...I'm only 29, only been married a year....I can't have cancer. I wouldn't even know what to do. The doctors were really nice and calming. DH was there, but he wasn't allowed back and had to sit in the waiting room. I will definitely get the results by Monday, hopefully by Friday. Fingers crossed for the all clear.

Now, I'm home resting. I'm working from home (mostly so I don't have to wear a bra, LOL)and keeping an ice pack on 20 minutes on and 20 minutes off and keeping up with Tylenol. I'm back at work tomorrow then flying to Charleston, SC for a bachlorette party. It will be very nice to just chill out on the beach with friends and not think about this.

Congrats for following through with every appointment and every doctor's appt. There are a number of women who are not proactive with their own health. I had a biopsy years ago and it was scary. Glad DH was able to support you during this.

Crossing my fingers for you

I, too, have been there and have lots of support to send your way.

It's going to be fine, kiddo!!

BIG GIANT BEAR HUGS TO YOU!!!!!!!!!!! Do you know what??!! I'm lucky. I just won a radio contest today. And I won one yesterday too. So I'm sending a whole bunch of my luck to you across time and space. You are going to be fine.

Been there on the top side so many times I stopped freaking out after the second round. But, had to have an endometrial biopsy done last week which involved anesthesia and I was not happy. Will get results on Monday. Stupid uterus was good for nothing and now it's going to give me crap like this? I've had to wear a pad every day since the procedure. Ugh. But have learned through long experience not to freak out until there's something to freak out over. So just take your mind off it and let us know when you know.

:jawdrop: :jawdrop: walk without a bra..... woman why did you ever bother wearing bra's in the first place...
I still refuse to wear that stuff, it's uncomfortable and feels like a straight jacket... and I do not have boobies to my knees.... they are still firm and pointy cause I allowed them to be free Biggrin

Glad it went well and I just know you will be fine, wish Timmar would give us an update on her boobies....
last time I heard they got everything and she's fine.... so you will be fine as well....

29 is still a baby if you think about it... cause you will live till 80, not even old enough to have a midlife crisis
