My house was once quiet
I didn't hear the sounds of heavy feet before SS came it's anything but the pitter patter of little feet. He's tall and awkward. He will stand outside my door in the hall just staring real creepily like.

Ha ha! All three of my skids
Ha ha! All three of my skids were and still are absolutely HUGE for their ages making them appear at least four years older than they actually are. Although, through years and years of meticulous uber permissive parenting, MENTALLY they are approx six years YOUNGER than their actual age. With an odd bit of precociousness (mini spouse syndrome) thrown in due to being exposed inappropriately to adult matters by the BM (Girhippo) as well as their father (Chef).
Through the years, I've found out that Chef was raised as a feral as well. No manners, no couth, the only discipline via his alcoholic enraged elderly father. Bull in a china shop as my DS and his wife call it.
Before the skids PASed out, they would break something in my house EVERY weekend without fail. Sounded like Clydesdales galloping through the house. Chef still slams the microwave door and I'm always hearing crashes from the kitchen.
i told lurch last night
i told lurch last night actually, "THANK YOU, for being able to walk inside the house, even with shoes on no less, without sounding like a herd of elephants!!!"
and kaos, well ya'll already know he's like effing Taz. and to add to his stomping and slamming, he'll clap, bark, squeal, high-pitch whistle, all like he's got a crappy form of tourette's.
it's been SOOOOOO PEACEFUL the last week i tell ya's!!!!
oh yes fruity, dh has
oh yes fruity, dh has threatened that right to his face!!!
the cosleeping thing still makes me twitch. but i think it's just HIM, how he's built, his personality - he has to dominate EVERYTHING, heaven forbid anyone do or say anything without focusing on him, and if you've got no reason to focus on him he'll effing create one dammit!
i am a very quiet person too,
i am a very quiet person too, with overactive senses. his particular brand of loudness triggers the same feeling i get as a claustrophobic, oddly enough. i dont mind kid noises generally, his friends are all normal kids. he's just balls-to-the-wall full throttle from the moment his feet hit the floor. crazy-inducing indeed!
that's why the peace in the noogies house has been sooooo nice. just me, dh, and lurch, nice and chill and laid-back.
ALL my furbabies do!
