OT - sick toddler, need advice.
DS20 months has had diarrhea episodes for a week now and I'm not sure what my next step should be.
Both DH and I had the stomach flu - no fevers. We are both better now. DS has had diarrhea diapers with a few regular ones mixed in. No fever or vomiting. At first he had loss his appetite, but now he is eating and drinking plenty of fluids. He is drinking whole milk and pedialyte.
He's been sent home twice from daycare. DH and I can't keep missing work. Tonight we bought the $25 tiny bottle of probiotics drops for toddlers to help with diarrhea, not sure if that will help.

He's been on whole milk since he was 12 months. So that's 8 months of being on milk, we use the same brand every time. So I don't think it's a milk issue.
If we get a call tomorrow from daycare, we will take BS into the doctor. I hope these drops will help.

After a week with no improvement I would take him to the doctor, just in case.
My BD was tested for coeliac disease due to a similar issue (one of her sisters has coeliac disease). She is fine, but dietary issues are always worth checking. Have you changed is diet lately?
Also, I agree that whole milk is not a good idea for an upset stomach, even for adults. Milk is actually pretty hard to digest.

I would take him to the doctor because he has a risk of dehydration with multiple days of diarrhea.
