OSD in jail update
Thanks to a super sleuth SM friend :-)she found OSD's court information.
Its a little disappointing... lol... I think all of us here was hoping for a little more 
Per the court docs it was for theft of $500.
The description was EXTRADITION.
Entry/Order was:
FUGITIVE FROM JUSTICE, THE STATE OF XXX FOR THEFT OF PROPERTY OF $500.
BOND AMOUNT: 5000.00
She did sign a waiver of extradition.
DEFT. TO HELD HELD UNTIL 09/18/15 FOR XX STATE TO PICK UP IF POST BOND.(Does anyone know what this means???) She has to stay in jail until the 18th and then going to the other state or if she posts bond before the 18th she wont have to get to the other state until her court date???
DH and I talked a little bit about it last night. He opened up some.
Learned that he almost gave BM some of the bond money based off of the LIES that BM told about why OSD was in jail. (Blaming it on OSD's DH). I'm like she's a fuckin liar! Why would you take ANYTHING she says at face value.
BM was also complaining about not having any money and had to get all the cell phones shut off and now she's taking care of OSD's kids.... blah blah blah....
DH is pretty much like, this isn't my problem (OSD in jail) and I dont want the drama or trouble. So that is a relief.

I'm wondering if she had already been charged and maybe had been to court or had a court date regarding it and that is when they hightailed it back to this state.
And really she crossed state lines, which is bad. One thing to leave the city or county, but the state.....So that may be why they were angry enough to come here and get her.

It means if she posts bond,
It means if she posts bond, she still has to sit in jail because another state is coming to get her for a warrant for another state. States usually don't go through the added expense of sending someone to another state to get her for petty theft . I've never seen that. That was my old job. Teletype operator. Running people's drivers licenese and warrants and confirming them when officers came into contact with people. You could probably pay $10 or so for an NCIC check to see what other warrants she has for out of state but it sounds like she has two separate things over her head. 1) a warrant for petty theft in state 2) a much serious warrant that the state is willing to extradite for somewhere else

I understand that to steal $500 or more makes it a federal offence. So if you want to rob a bank and not get slammed with a felony ONLY steal $499.90 at a time.If they hand you too much money make sure you give some of it back.

The charge came out of State
The charge came out of State A where she was living. So my guess is that she was already charged in State A (and knew about it) and then still left for State B, where she was picked up and is currently. She is being extraditated back to State A on 9/18 per the papers I read online.
If it was only for $500 it would make more sense that she KNEW about the charges and had been to jail/court, etc. something, and that she still left the state. That would piss the law off and make them what to come for her.
