Grateful to have SD with me today.

Well SD7 earned her keep today when I locked us out of the house!

I locked us out of the house this morning and of course my husband (at work) didn't have his keys on him either. So after calling the landlord, getting no response and leaving a voicemail message we went to get restorative hot drinks. Then back to the house to try the windows, and fortunately I was able to open one and SD, being the great climber that she was got in through the window and opened the door for me. Phew.. She saved us the cost of a locksmith, not sure if I would have gotten in as easily as her!

That's great! I haaaate it when that kind of thing happens to me.

I remember when I was around 5 years old my neighbours locked themselves out of their house and I had to climb through the teeny little opening that, back in the old days, was used for milk deliveries every morning. I look at it now and it boggles my mind, it's like the size of my foot!

Thanks Sally, I'll take praise where I can get it!

I think I would have spare keys all over the garden, with the neighbours and the window people if I locked myself out that often!

Now I just have to find my keys....still not sure where they are and I'm supposed to be taking SD to the zoo today...maybe she will have to get lesson 2 in breaking into the house today!
