My IUD slipped -OT

Sweet T's picture

So lately we have had a lot of lady part talks so I thought I would share. I have had a IUD for 7 years now ( this is my second). WIth the first one while I was married to crazy ex there wasn't a whole lot of using the Vajajay for recreational purposes. ( who wants to have sex with a crazy lazy person who doesn't bathe on weekends ) I have the IUD in because otherwise I menstrate constantly and this keeps me period free. When I had the old one taken out the family practice couldn't get the new one in and I had to have the OB do it. ( FYI always get the lidocaine ladies) I have a tilted uterus so it makes things fun.

I have had spotting lately so I went in and they did an ultrasound yesterday and aparently mine has moved and that is why I am having these issues. Lucky me I get to have this one taken out next week and a new one put in. Hopefully they will get it in the right place and the damned thing will stay put. I am embarrassed to ask how the darned thing moved. I have probably been more recreational in the last 8 months than I was in the last 8 years lol.

Well luckily I can't get pregnant, I have no fallopean tubes any more. It was the first thing the DR asked me. I told him I am 46 and have a IUD, he said it could still happen...till I explained no tubes.

I have to say that getting pregnany now would be horrific. When I told BF what the DR said, he was like well if it happened it would be okay, we would get through it. I am not sure what that means to him exactly, although I know if given the chance he would have been a very good dad. To me it would have been a very bad thing to be pregnant, unmarried with a 7 year old, 46 and have the father of my child be on the road 2 to 3 weeks at a time.
