Victory at court today for the penis

Husband got full physical custody. Husband, BM and I share joint legal. BM will now have to pay support, back dating to sept. of 2012. BM has no visitation in the order, however we will let SD go every other weekend. BM didn't even file for visitation! What??

Anyway..finally my husband got what he deserved the whole time. I guess her constant drug use, jail time and absence became enough that the judge couldn't ignore it or go against anymore GAL decisions.

That's awesome. I love to hear about victories here. With so much sadness and anger over these kids it's nice to read that there can be happy endings (not THAT kind!) LMFAO

Well the judge said directly to BM, "You have NOT put in a request for visitation so nothing will go in the order but I will make a note of it that *dh and I* have agreed to let you see the child every other weekend." BM just said, "ok." I would been like HOW DO I GET VISITATION IN THE COURT ORDER!!!

btw..how would she go about getting visitation in the court order?

I don't know what it means at all. Why would they give a step legal custody if the BM still had it? And what difference does it even make? I guess in a medical emergency it would be good but what other reason???

My thoughts exactly!! To each their own, and not everyone has situations like us, but if a Judge ever tried to make me responsible for skid in any way I would say, I most vehemently and respectfully decline your honor.

I guess as long as BM is not in a position to try to get anything from me because I have legal custody of her child then I am ok with it. If she had somehow won custody and I remained legal custody and she tried to go after me for support...well...let's just say you would probably hear about me on the news. And it wouldn't be pretty.

Ok, so...also i never ASKED for custody and they gave it to me last time I guess they just made it permanent this time.
