Afraid of getting too close to SD because of BS

I've just realized that I think subconsciously I'm afraid of developing a close bond with my SD like the one I have with my BS, as if it's "unfair" to share a similar bond with a SD. I realize this is irrational but want to get past it. Anyone ever felt this way?

When I first met my DH, my own bio daughters were late teens and the SDs were 5 & 7. I was very conscious I did not want my bios to feel like I was "replacing" them. As it turned out - I have not had a relationship with the SDs at all so it was never an issue. But I know what you mean.

yea, I think though it will always be a LITTLE different. Even if they were both biological. Also different ages. But I'm working on it.
