SD 20 maxed out her credit card
and my husband better not pay it off for her. Her credit limit is $2,250.00. I feel that is a LOT for a 20 year old who makes minimum wage working and is working at a part-time job. I think we should JUST STAY OUT OF IT! NOT our problem. I knew this would happen. She lives above her means buying only the best clothes and shoes. I am SO sick of her dumb irresponsible ways.

I hate to say it....
I hate to say it but I'm betting your DH pays it. I hope not but I have a Disney Dad here. Better keep an eye on your account. You know how they think, can't stand for Princess to experience the negative consequences of her poor judgment.
If he pays it, she'll just
If he pays it, she'll just run it up again. It took a few cycles for my DH to stop the money handover, but he did. It happened early in our dating so I never had to deal with it. When he told me he had stopped I was quick to assure him he did the right thing.
Yeah hahaha we can't afford
Yeah hahaha we can't afford that!!!

Learning from mistakes
My DD wasnt really bad about money but not great, either. She went to college in a large city and lived in an apartment with a friend. Long story short, she bounced a check at tbe lical grocer. I decided not to intervene and she went thru all kinds of hassle before it was resolved. She was good with money after that. This is the only one of our 5 kids to parlay our "house downpayment" gift from a duplex, to a larger house, to a much better house with 2 adjacent lots.
If he pays it off, she learns
If he pays it off, she learns nothing! I made that mistake for my own DD and I learned MY lesson. Took her a while to learn hers though.
