SD15 (who i believe tried to poison me) has a job

Ok so, I'm glad SD has a job, sidee likely won't be here much because of it.
Buuuut, she's going to be working at a frozen yogurt place. She's going to be handling everyone's food..... yikes, scary!
Also she's stolen money from school fundraisers, from her 5yo brother, and from her own mother....
She's got a horrible weight problem due to her over eating (i believe she has a binge eating disorder, but her mother wont take this girl to a psychologist, no matter how many times DH tells her she needs to). She's already posted many snap chats of her washing thre frozen yogurt (she's only had this job 1 week)
And this girl doesn't even know how to use a credit card machine!
Im not sure how long this job (or her health) will last.
Look on the bright side
Look on the bright side. First, she actually got a job. Many kids her age are holed up in their rooms playing video games. Second, she must have cleaned up her act enough for someone to hire her. Yes, I realize that was probably temporary but it shows she can do it. Thirdly, every hour she spends being employed is an hour she is learning something about reality.
Like you, I"m pessimistic about the long-term outlook but we have to find some positive things in steplife whenever we can, right?
Im being optimistic, she won
Im being optimistic, she won't be here very often as long as she has this job. But there's no way she "turned around" since the last few weeks since ive seen her. She literally tried to poison me a few weeks ago. She had a good interview, but most narcissistic people can get through an interview.
But yes, i hope that having this job makes her grow as a person.
I'm not sugar-coating things
I hope you don't feel I'm sugar-coating her actions, if I were you I'd be so concerned. I'm just hoping she moves toward adulthood a little with this job and is able to turn aside from whatever negativity is going thru her mind. Job, school, friends -concentrate on those, SD.
