I’m moving out.

I made a major move. After days of heavy depression, I had the discussion with FH. I asked him what this custody situation is looking like with SD. He said it will go on like this at least until the semester ends in May. (Background: he and BM have been playing swipe-the-SD so now we have her all weekdays and weekends). Well, I told him I can't do it. I'm pregnant and I'm unhappy and I never wanted this. So I told him I'm leaving.

I started moving out this morning. It's all very emotional but I can't do it anymore. His next move was to call on my mother and among other foolishness, ask her how she can believe I love him when I don't love his daughter. He says I am "wicked" for needing a break from his pride and joy every now and then. I get it, I do. But I need him to get me too.

So I'm done!!! I'll be just another BM soon!

It is probably for the best that you left. You despise a what 7 yr old little girl for existing. You say that there is nothing "wrong" with the child, just that she is there. You still chose to have a baby with this man. You have made it clear to him that you intend to treat her as less than your baby. Of course he isn't happy about that.

Hopefully you won't be one of "Those BM's" and will be a fair and equal parent with your stbEx.

He will have to file for visitation arrangements before he gets his swiping fingers on my son. There will have to be a court order in effect before anything like that goes down.

"Despise" is pretty strong and out of context, don't you think? I've said and continue to say she is not my child -- I do not love her like a mother does. I can not force myself to love her like a mother should. And I am unapologetic in that. Of course I love my unborn son more than I love her! Unapologetically!

You should never have to apologize for loving your son more than your SD. Good for you!
