Greedy Stepkids
Anyone else have disgustingly greedy stepchildren? A stepdaughter in particular?
DH and I went away overnight the other day and came home to discover SD16 had eaten an entire loaf of white bread in that time. Lied about it of course.
She asked DH to look at her bank account online to work out if she had been paid from her job. DH sees transaction after transaction of McDonalds, KFC, McDonald’s, KFC on repeat costing a minimum of $12. She certainly wasn’t buying Happy Meals at that price, she was going SuperSize!! Yet still she comes home and was eating full lunches and dinners. We eat pretty healthily and I find it totally gross.
Her name is Imogen and as she used to love telling me ‘my name means in the image of the mother’. If I had a dollar for every time she told me that....Ain’t that the truth you fat little cretin!!
When DH and I came home from
When DH and I came home from vacation last year I found a large pot full of dirty grease (totally emptied a 1/2 oil gallon oil container to fry stuff) and 5 brand new 1.75 liter bottles of booze with 1/2 inch (at most) left in each. Steaks and lamb chops missing from the freezer. Oh - and SS33 and his GF had ZERO permission to even be in the home. Greedy little thieves. But now I no longer ever have to see them at all. I win.
At 16 you still have to be semi-decent to her for another two years. Then when she's an adult you can tell her to her face with a greedy little fat f*** she is.

As to her name, I am sure you will agree with it: It is a result of a (printer's) mistake.
Having been forced to study Shakespeare at school, just about every British kid knows Imogen is a mistake.
It was supposed to be INNOGEN, but it was misread and/or transcribed wrong in print.
So your SD is a mistake.
It is probably closest to in meaning (phonetically) to a Gaelic name for "maiden" based on the play in which it is first recorded.
Why does she go around talking nonsense about her own name?
How can she advertise her ignorance so blatantly?

just a total glutton. I didn’t know that about the name Imogen. That’s hilarious! Totally Googling that right now. I know right? Who talks about their name repeatedly like that? Odd, just odd.

Master of greed
Oh yes indeed. I live with the Master of Greed, SS18. Would eat until he puked if he could.
Used to get up in the night to raid the kitchen cupboards. Drank litres of milk, ate cheese and bread and cookies and even a while pot of margarine/butter type spread.
Stopped sending him to the bakery to get a loaf of sliced bread because he would eat a couple of slices out of the pack on his way home.
Steals food, steals other peoples goodies even when he has his own sweets, chocolate etc
When we visited my elderly mothers house he went to the kitchen and sneakily took extra pie without asking
Recently, unbeknown to DH, was taking money out of his savings to buy junk food, extra lunches (still eating packed lunch from home and supplementing it with bought sandwiches and filled baguettes) chocolate and sugary drinks, to the tune of nearly 300 euros (348 dollars) over 3 months. He had gained nearly 50 pounds in weight and his stomach was like a pregnancy.
He has no conscience, he has no self control.

We actually had to set up a shelving unit in our bedroom for the grand skids snacks because skid 20 would eat all of them if they were not locked up, we have to write the baby's name on his juice in the fridge. I have to put my name on my lunch I prepare the night before, it's sickening to live like this, so can't wait for this pos to launch, but I'm sure that's no time soon.
