Oh man
I assume most of you know what it's like dealing with over dramatic little girls.
I swear I'm going to toss SD10 out of a window one of these days. Ok, maybe not. But I'd sure like to.
SO and I came into a few extra dollars a couple weeks ago so we decided to get the kids some clothes, whatever they needed for winter, and got most of Christmas paid for [thank God!].
Anyway, I brought back a pair of pajamas and a Monster High outfit for SD10. It was a big dress/shirt thing with some tights. They are size large [10/12s]. She wears a large because she's tall, not fat in any way, shape, or form. She loved the outfit while she was here. But she brings it back the next weekend saying that the pants are too tiiiiight...THEY'RE TIGHTS! They are supposed to be tight!
So I have her try them on and they're only kind of tight around her ankles. That's it.
Whatever child. I'm just going to beat my head off of a wall now.

When SD was 10 she was a pain
When SD was 10 she was a pain in the ass. Actually now she is 16 and she is just as bad. I would get her tights to wear under her Christmas dress and she would complain they are itchy. She would ask for zippered sweatshirts and then complain that she wanted a pullover. Everything I picked was wrong. Even if she asked for it.
Now my DD is 10 and she can be a pain too. I got her leggings last year and she threw them back at me and made a face. A couple of weeks ago I snuck them into her drawer. Yesterday she comes upstairs wearing them saying wow look what I found in my drawer, I love them. Pain in the ass!
When we go clothes shopping I just let her pick what she wants. If I say I like something then she will purposely not like it.
SD does this too!
This is why I don't pick out clothes for either one and they get gift cards. I honestly just give up!
I figured it was pretty
I figured it was pretty normal. I love the gift card idea.
SD10 takes FOREVER in the store if you let her pick what clothes she wants.
Seriously, we were in the shoe store for like an hour and a half before she decides on a 90 dollar pair of boots. I said screw it get them I just want to leave! The cashier asked if I wanted to become a member of whatever and I told him "No. I just want to get the hell out of here before I lose the rest of my sanity." As SD is next to me messing with the squishy insole shoe things. He got a kick out of it. Lol.
So yeah, no store outings for me next time.
I'm surprised she fits a
I'm surprised she fits a 10/12. That seems kinda on the small side for a 10 year old.
My DD12 is junior 3-5, YIKES!! She's tall, almost as tall as me, and already has some curves. (Sigh.) I am totallllly feeling you on the clothing drama!!
I'd like to say it gets better... but I won't lie
I'm telling ya this girl is a
I'm telling ya this girl is a STICK. But she's a super tall stick lol.
Now her shoe size on the other hand...wow.
She is half a size away from being able to fit MY SHOES. :O
Yeah I don't see it getting any better, but I do see lots of gift cards in the future!
My DD10 is a stick too but
My DD10 is a stick too but she is 4'11" so I have to get her size 12/14 in shirts or they are too short. She's still in a 10 for pants because she's so skinny. Her feet are getting huge. I'm an 8 and they aren't that big on her.
She also hates shopping for some reason. I dread having to buy her clothes. She's the only kid in the world that gets mad when we go to the mall!!
SD16 has an addiction to shopping. She gets something new every single weekend. Ugh!
