One up....
I came home sick today. I've had a migraine for two days. Between stress and weather changes my meds can't keep up. By the time I got home I was vomiting profusely (TMI, sorry). I rested all afternoon.
Dh cooked dinner, sd13 went out to play. When we all sat down we were just talking, and sd rudely asks whats wrong with me? I said nothing. My dh said, "stepcop came home sick today, she's had a rough afternoon". Before he could finish te word afternoon, sd jumped in with "I had a rough day too". I took the bait. Was very curious, since there was no concern or sympathy that could even be faked at this point. I asked what had happened. Ms. Drama queen said she didn't want to talk about it.
I said you obviously did, you interrupted your dad to let us all know. She didn't say anything. Dh gets a confused look on his face and says to ad, "but when you got in the car after school, you said you had a really good day?".
Her response, "oh, I must not have been paying attention".
Sd's canned answer for everything is she must not have been paying attention. I'm not sure what she ever pays attention to. The ungrateful, selfish snot.
Yesterday when our pastor was here for dinner before sd's counseling, sd blurted out, "did you know friend x's dad makes beer?". We all just sat there since she had interrupted the conversation to say this. She then goes on to say, "he gave me some to see what I thought it needed, and I told him lime". WTF!?!? What parent gives someone else's child beer? And what fucking 14 year old thinks its ok to keep drinking after you have been busted and are on more psych meds than Charles Manson???
I'm so fed up with this kids ate realism, selfishness, manipulation, etc. I just want to smack her! Even dh told her the other night how sick he was of hearing her whine when he told her no, and then she spews hateful mean things because she doesn't get her way. He's tired of it too!

My sd wouldn't last 10
My sd wouldn't last 10 seconds.... It would be HHHHOOOTTT, there's nothing to eeeeaaasttt, who's going to cook for her?, there is no dr. Pepper? Are there boys?
Lol she is definitely a piece of work. Some I thought was normal 13 year old behavior until I started reading, I found its normal 5 year old behavior, and some is normal 16 year old behavior.
Sd15 does this. If one of us
Sd15 does this. If one of us is sick, she has it worse. If I had a bad day, she had it worse. Anytime I am sick I have to hide it or she automatically has what I have but worse.
A girl in school last year had to have knee surgery. SD could not handle this girl getting all the attention. She went to the nurse and refused to leave until the nurse wrapped her knee up. The nurse called and told me their was nothing wrong with her at all but insisted on it being wrapped. That night she went roller skating with her friends. Wacko!!
Isn't this munchousins
Isn't this munchousins syndrome?? Or is that only if they actually hurt themselves for the attention, which I don't put past sd, honestly!
I think its called I am a
I think its called I am a jealous evil bitch child and I need all the attention on me all the time or I will run away and cry syndrome!!
I would love to e able to
I would love to e able to talk to my 13 year old sd like she was normal, however you must not follow along my blogs. This child has SEVERE mental illness. She is somewhere between a psycho and sociopath. She is not bipolar, she is not depressed. She has been institutionalized. She is aggressive, violent, and has homicidal ideations. You talk to her calmly, she will still be fantasizing about sticking a fork in your eyeball (this is a direct quote about what she wanted to do to me during a normal dinner conversation one night). But feel free to talk to her. She sees a psychiatrist, and two counselors, and the school counselor. She is a threat to just about everyone, hence the heavy medication. Please remember before judging, even Ted bundy had parents.
