Last year I went out for 2 separate weeks of camping with SO and his kids. 1 week was just the four of us, the other week was with my sister and her family. My SO also goes out camping more with his kids when I can't go because of work. This year I refuse to go with them at all. I hated every second of being around his kids non-stop. They don't go more than 5 feet away from us. They don't go ride their bikes, won't go to the playground alone... it is soooo annoying!! Don't even get me started about when it rains!!!!!
So far we have been using 2 tents. One for me and SO and one for his 2 boys. Since they went camping so much last year, SO wants to buy a trailer for camping. I would love to have a trailer for camping, but that doesn't leave any private area away from his kids!! There is absolutely no way I want to share a space with his kids! Especially a sleeping space! His kids both snore really loudly and BOTH wet the bed!! There is NO WAY I want to get a trailer just to share it with his kids. SO and I only went camping one weekend alone without his kids and that's only because I blew up that all of his holidays are used up on them and if I want to go camping with him, it has to be with his kids too!! Don't give me any of that "you knew they were in his life when you started dating" either... I had no idea every single holiday and all of his vacation time would be taken up by his kids!! How the hell would I ever have known that?!?!? Let me tell you.... if I had known just how much they would be around... I would have turned and RAN out of this relationship!!!

Long rant short-I do not want to spend any of my money for his kids to go camping in comfort. Should I just bite the bullet so that at least there is a camper for if/when I can go!?!?!? It probably wouldn't be for more than 1 or 2 weekends in the summer... my work is mostly in the summer... holidays in the winter.
