My stepson knocked out my son's tooth. And no one did anything

Just a quick post. My 7 year old step son (who is violent, although his BM calls him "willful" -- whatever) knocked out my 11 year old son's tooth. For the record, they're the same size. Also for the record, while not a permanent tooth, it's wasn't loose either.
His BM and BF did NOTHING. The child wasn't even made to apologize.
Ummm... am I wrong in being extremely pissed off here??

In general You are right to be pissed - having a tooth knocked out is painful and for that alone SS should have apologized!

Thank you. First, what pisses me off is this child has been violent before. On multiple occasions. And no one does anything then either. And then this happens and not only did nothing happen, the little brat wasn't even made to apologize. And don't get my started on the lying, manipulative, conniving, jealousy-ridden, sneaky SD. She's almost as delightful.
My kids aren't angels but they were at least raised with manners and morals.

I would have been screaming so loud that you would have heard me three states away. I have lit into SS9 when DD3 said he hit her on her chin and she was crying hysterically. I scared FDH I was so angry. Unfortunately SS still hasn't learned not to hit DD.
