Help,need a response to FSIL! Today is FH's birthday.I'm not invited.lol

Because,I have kids. Last weekend (was completely k free) He asked if I wanted to go out for dinner on his birthday (which is today), he was suppose to have ss12. He has then Decided to invite a few friends ,who are now coming along.He cancelled on ss12.I don't think I really want to go with my bk's,they would be the only children!! I wouldn't be able to really enjoy myself, and Today,is the last day of school.I am gonna take them shopping.Find FH a gift along the way. Get a cake tomorrow and let him enjoy tonight with his friends.I was kinda pissed at this at first but I got over it.Until today when his b(half)s text me asking if I got him a birthday cake,lmao,why would I, I'm not invited! I got over it, I finally responded with "Thought about a DQ one" She never responded lol

how are you not invited? It seems you are choosing not to go because of BKs. He didnt say not bring them. Can you find a quick sitter. I dont see why you needf help. Just tell Sil that Im not going because I dont want to bring the kids to an adult event.

Oops, left that out.It was when he started telling me how the so and so's got a sitter I'm not going to get ss12.You should try to find a sitter (I have yet to find one,i just moved here almost a year ago)or their grandparents (who just had them for the whole holiday weekend!) so,you can come too,Babe!I just smiled and said oh,ok! I didn't argue or get pissy to him. Started thinking to why it's best I don't go,

ok i get it now. Hell I see iot like this if you have small children dont plan things if you cant get them all watched after. Grow up. IU still say tell SIl you cant find a sitter and leabve it at that.

Lol, grow up! I was a little hurt over it bc he knew I couldn't get a sitter not to mention he just yesterday text ss12 to say you can't come but, has planned on coming since Monday.he just invited others Wednesday.I held it all in,sil knows the situation so why would she think I would be remotely interested in providing a cake for the evening! Idk kinda funny now I ended up just saying I would get one if she wants me to

I mean for your DH to grow up. women wouldnt normally do this we just seem to have a different moral compass . Pretty sure if it were your Birthday all the ducks would be in a row.
