BM has to do WHAT with her money???
SD14 decided to stay the week here with us, and has been acting "nice" which is not her usual "don't talk to me because I don't care" self. I couldn't understand why she decided to stay here until the weekend because according to her while she lived with us she couldn't wait to move with BM. Well last night she tells DH that BM said he has to pay $60 plus spending money for her end of the school year trip, and her dress & shoes for some program at school because BM has to send HER BF whose incarcerated money and she also has to save HER money to travel back and forth to see him. I'm sorry but who comes first, and the sad thing about it is SD saw nothing wrong with this, but if DH doesn't get the items listed she will be pissed....at him....smh! DH didn't respond so lets see how this plays out.
BM is a waste of oxygen! I don't believe he should cover both at all!

If he pays child support, the
If he pays child support, the costs are covered in that.
If he doesn't, he should give her $60 and call it done. Mom can come up with the rest.
Yes he does pay child
Yes he does pay child support, but I wouldn't believe it if I didn't see the statements. He comes out of pocket for everything SD needs, but this time around I will see to it that her BM is forced to take care of her responsibility because this is ridiculous.
WOW if this were my situation
WOW if this were my situation she would get nothing b/c dh pays cs and it is covered through that.
My thoughts exactly, but SD
My thoughts exactly, but SD has a way of making DH feel bad that she has to go without so we will see :?
As I am reading this I
As I am reading this I actually just sent a request to the CS office asking for a statement of CS payments paid to date for my DHs account. About 5 years ago when I asked for one the total was at around 150k paid to date. I like to see the GRAND TOTAL in black and white so whenever the BM asks for extras I can show my DH that statement. It always pisses him off and then he gets the energy to tell her to fuck off. I also make sure I show the SKIDS the statement. Especially since BM LOVES to tell them that their dad doesn't do shit for them. Works like a charm.
Good for you! I hate the
Good for you! I hate the whole "kids should not be involved in CS". Yes, I agree ONLY if the CP who is receiving it does NOT involve them. But when the CP is constantly telling the kid to ask NCP for money and that NCP doesn't pay enough, blah, blah, blah...I think NCPs have EVERY RIGHT to set their kids straight. Period.
Once CS is over, as loser has always harrassed DH that he doesn't pay enough, that her mommy can't afford her other kids, blah, blah, blah...we do plan on keeping copies of all he has paid and sending straight to loser so that she can get her head out of her a$$. She can then ask her mom to show her proof of how much SHE contributed...which will be crap, since the biggest expense is housing and BM pays NOTHING for it.
Oh a few years ago I showed
Oh a few years ago I showed SS who at the time was around 14 or 15 the statement. This was because BM was telling SS that DH didn't give a damn about him because DH refused to buy SS a winter coat. So I showed him the statement. Asked him to read outloud the BIG BLACK NUMBER at the bottom of the page. I said, see where it says "PAID TO?" He nodded. I said "Ok now go ask your mother what she did with all that money and why don't you have a coat?" He did exactly that. His mother walked out of the room when he asked her. Each time since than when he needed something and his mother would say ask your dad, he'd say "No I'm asking you because dad already gave you the money." Now I have to train SD11, because SHE is drinking her mommas Kool Aid so I need to fix that.
Oh please don't give me any
Oh please don't give me any ideas....lol! I have thought about this more than once. Especially when SD ask DH whether he is going to buy her a car when she turns 16....HA! Your car money is being used on God knows what so the answer is NO, but I'll tell you what you can do....get a job and buy your own!
My problem is we have custody
My problem is we have custody of SS12 and BM doesn't pay child support or anything else. We pay it all. Man, I wish I could have kept a spread sheet of all we have spent to show him.
