So I decided for some unknown reason to have a family night out with hubby & SS. DH had a bad day at work & came home like a total grump. So I made him a drink & let him vent about his day. Then we went out to dinner and DH started acting all grumpy again. He was just being really snippy to me in front of SS. I tried to just joke it off to maintain a nice night. DH wouldn't stop thou and it really started to wear on me, then DH was noticing that I was annoyed and wouldn't stop asking me what my problem was. Finally SS got up & went to the bathroom. So DH and I had a brief conversation about what was going on. SS came back so quickly that I wasn't really feeling any different and just as SS sits down DH says to me ( while he's laughing) oh just knock it off or I'll knock the s*** outta you. Again he was joking, he has never laid a hand on me nor would he but I felt this comment was so incredibly inappropriate. I got so angry at him for saying this especially in front of SS joking or not. I didn't talk to him for the rest of the night. So much for a nice family night out. He still dosent get what 'the big deal is' which makes me even madder. Is it me or was this comment totally wrong. I could be overreacting.
