Nasty skids bringing germs home...

newbiemommy's picture

My SD10 refuses to wash her hands. She pees herself and does nothing but change her clothes, will sleep in a peed bed. Shes very dirty and gross. She goes to her moms disgusting house and runs around with her filthy siblings. I have a 6 month old and I cringe if she comes near her. My daughter JUST got over a cold I'm convinced my SD10 brought home from somewhere. I get so pissed when she puts her hands on my babys binki's.
Well, SD10 brought home a NASTY bug from her moms house and ONLY my SO got it. He couldn't even deny its her because he said that her mom and siblings all have it. (Would've been great if she told us that BEFORE she went over there) And I told him of course one of us would get it because she won't ever wash her hands, not even after using the bathroom, thats why we haven't run out of soap in her bathroom in 6 months! He's miserable and hasn't been able to keep anything down. But at least this time HE got it. Not me and my baby. And now he's faced with her nastiness.
I know theres A LOT of nasty skid stories out there. Anyone else have the skids that bring home every germ they come in contact with?? Gross!!

She lives with us. She went to her mothers for the first time in weeks and this is what we get.

Just the thought of having dirty skids around my infant child makes me shudder! I'd be the biggest bitch if that were the case. I'm so glad I had my tubes tied before meeting SO.

Gads, I've gotta go wash my hands now. Thanks for giving me the heebie jeebies!! Blum 3

I have a huge hand sanitizer bottle and lysol that get used OFTEN!!! I wish there was a way to keep skids away from her completely. This kid turned me into a germaphobe, I just imagine all these pee pee germs all over my house from her.

 Just caught SD10 picking her nose! I told her, "Go get a kleenex!" SO came flying out of bed and asked her, "Are you digging in your nose!?" She just whined in answer. SO, "Go get a kleenex, then wash your hands, then DON'T TOUCH A THING!" Bhahahaha.

Is she still not embarrassed that she pees herself or picks her nose? Does she do that around other kids her age? Has anyone ever said anything to her and what was her reaction or response?

If I was you id be putting in an anonoymous complaint to CPS about BM and her house. There's no need for kids to be stinky and the house not clean. Gross

My SS9 still pees every night, leaves piss blankets.in his room all day. --nasty!!! And he doesn't care.one bit at.all. when I make him clean his mess.I always make.wash his hands and use hand Sanitizer. I also have a baby too so I worry about him getting sick.from germs skids bring home from school. I try to keep his pacifiers and stuff like that in my room away from common areas. Just remind her to use hand Sanitizer -maybe get her one of cute little.scented pocket-bacs from bath and body works. I have step-sons so they probably wouldn't like that but she might. I'm with u on the pee thing and my skids live with us too.

SS8 Picks his nose, (and eats them) has his hands/fingers in his mouth, in his pants, (the front and back) smells his fingers, doesnt wash his hands after the bathroom (for either business)

Its gross disgusting!!!!!
The CP? Clean freak. Seriously OCD clean. Im not exaggerating when i say not a speck of dust in her "better homes and garden" house.
How could this be, you ask? DENIAL!! CP was confronted about the lack of handwashing. "Oh, he doesnt do that at home?" Really? Cause he doesnt wash his hands here, or other places. (Other family members have told me) The CP doesnt know. She just "knows" he would nevvvver lie about it. CP was confronted on the hands in the pants thing, her response.?! His underwear. Hmm, how long does it take to adjust? What out the one time he wasnt wearing underwear under his shorts?!
Denial is a dumb ugly thing!
And those habits are gross!!!

I ALWAYS catch SD12 not washing her hands after she uses the bathroom or comes home after being somewhere public where she may have picked up germs. Sometimes she just wets her hands but doesn't use soap. Both FH and I are like "We can tell you didn't use soap when you run the water for like 3 seconds!" She's not completely filthy but she always needs to be reminded to shower, and she usually says something like she showered Friday before we picked her up and she'll shower Sunday when she gets home, but I'm skeptical. Her home where she lives with BM, hubby and their 2 other kids always smells like cat urine (and for a long time they didn't have a cat) and they aren't the cleanest people in general, so it's clear where she gets it from. Still though, it makes me shudder when I think of her touching stuff that we touch, like the fridge door handle, without washing her hands...so when she leaves, it's disinfecting time!
