Lot of this rings true. I wish I had followed the advice about his financial situation and if he's "over" his ex.

I read it, too, and almost couldn't believe it. I'm suddenly greatful that wifey #1 was such a crappy wife; FDH wants nothing at all to do with her and has told me on several occasions how much better I am, both to him and his kid, than XW.
