Met up with a couple today that have known BF and BM for several years. BF had given their names to the GAL as contacts for the investigation. As far as we knew, she hadn't contacted them, but we found out today that in fact she had, and had already spoken with one of them. The one she spoke with used to be BF's boss at a former job and had also spent time with BF, BM, and SD.

The GAL was asking the guy things about BF's character at work and his driving. So we confirmed GAL has spoken to BM for sure, and BM is continuing to trash talk BF even about things she has no basis for making claims. Apparently from the nature of the questions asked of our friend, she is claiming that BF has problems at work and is an unreliable "provider". Our friend directly refuted these claims and said positive things about BF.

I mean really, how far is this woman willing to go in her shit smearing campaign??

His wife spent more time talking with BM and with SD. They've been playing phone tag but I hope she speaks to her next week. GAL is still supposed to speak to me so I'm guessing it will be about the same time

I was talking to his wife and out of the blue she mentioned some things about how BM treats SD which I had also mentioned to the GAL in my original statement. I hope the GAL talks to her because she will also corroborate things our other friend told her. These two friends of ours have never met.

In the discovery questions, BM made some claims about how SD is cared for when she's with me and BF, which again, she has no idea or knowledge of. She claims that I'm the one who cares for her and that BF is incapable of even taking care of himself. I suspect that's the main thing the GAL wants to speak with me about, but I'll find out this week.

Anyways so another little stroke of good news, we hope. More allies we didn't realize we had. I had no idea our friend used to be BF's boss so again, that's really awesome and I hope things work out for us!!
