Enjoying the peace
I love Christmas break! SS11 is staying with his mom until Wednesday evening and then going back to her house on Friday and staying with her until January 5th. Yeah for me! Things have been great! My mom kept my kids Saturday night and Sunday night. Sunday we just sat around and watched the whole first season of Dexter. It was awesome! No arguing. No getting stared at by skid. Getting to do whatever I wanted without second guessing myself. I forgot how nice it was.

I completely understand how
I completely understand how you feel. My SD9 goes with her bio mom on Fridays for the weekend. So as you can imagine, my whole attitude changes on Thursday nights! But on the flip side, I start getting depreseed again Sunday morning, knowing she will be back hom Sunday night! yikes.
Oh yes SS11 goes to his mom's
Oh yes SS11 goes to his mom's on Fridays after school and comes back on Sunday evenings. It takes all that I have to drag myself out of bed Sunday mornings. He comes back cranky from lack of sleep at his mom's. He doesn't have a bed time at her house so he takes it out on us. I'm pretty sure he spends most of his time at his mom's house at a friend's house. She is such a good parent!
it is so hard to be a mom
it is so hard to be a mom when the mom isn't even being a mom. i have so much resentment over it. its like, she should eb with her mother, but instead I'm the mom all week. and with her mom for 2 days? WTH? so odd. but this is my situation and I have to accept it.
