How do we handle this?
Okay. My bf has custody of his two kids and the older one told him last night that their mother was moving to another state which is about about 45 minutes from us and she is moving in with her boyfriend who she just met a month ago but they knew each other when they were younger. Mind you she had a lesbian lover a month and a half ago. Very confusing. Anyway, how do we approach the driving situation, when she lived 10 minutues away she would pick them up from our house and we would pick them up on Sunday from her place. I'm sure her visitation is going to change also because she used to see them a few days during the week for a couple hours. Same thing she would pick up from our house and we would pick up from her house to bring them home. She has already left messages that she needs to talk to him about this but anytime we ask her something she advises that she has to talk to her attorney first. Just wanted some heads up on how to handle this when she used to live 10 minutes away and if she even moves, will now be 45 to 50 minutes away? Any advice would help and thank you.

Personally, I'd say her
Personally, I'd say her move, her problem, but I doubt the courts will agree. You'll probably end up meeting her half way.

Agree with SVS - typically
Agree with SVS - typically the parents meet half way.

I know in my guy's
I know in my guy's situation, it says something about that in his child custody stipulation. I believe it says if either party wants to move out of state or more than ___ miles away that a visitation schedule will need to be arranged through either a court mediator or through attorneys. I'd go the mediator route as the attorney would be expensive. Our stipulation even outlines who will pick up/drop off and what times...
If your bf has full custody then I'm sure it will be up to BM to come and get the kids, unless the two of you want to arrange to meet somewhere out of the goodness of your hearts
DH's custody agreement has
DH's custody agreement has this detailed. Visitation stays the same if BM lives less than 100 miles away. More than 100 miles and it changes. Also, whoever is getting the kid does the transport. For example, BM picks up on Friday at 6 from dad's house and dad picks up Sunday at 6 from BM.
