Lastest update is that 17 yr old is still in hospital. Probably know more abt her next move on Mon. SO's bday was yesterday. Knowing his daughter was safe....he said it was the best bday ever. Comedy club with family and friends. Bday cake today with my side of fam. Just nice to have a stress free weekend

I'm so glad you had a stress free weekend and your DH had a good birthday. I know what you mean...when my former SD went into the mental hospital (and she definitely WAS faking), my ex started nagging me to visit her the NEXT day- after I spend all night in the ER with her, while she slept and I had to sit up in the freezing cold in a plastic chair. I was SO glad she was gone, but since she was faking anyway, she got out in two days.

It's such a relief to have the drama removed for awhile. I hope they keep her for a LONG time and she gets the help she needs.

I don't really believe that she wants to kill herself....but I do believe she needs help. I hope they keep her at least till she's 18 which is early Dec. Who knows what will happen to her when she's 18 tho - legally an adult.
