OT - IVF Tomorrow

TheSaneOne's picture

Off Topic - I am going in for IVF to transfer two 5 day blasts Monday. I will be a surrogate for a very dear couple.

I just wanted to ask for prayers and "sticky baby dust"

I will keep everyone updated. Have any of you undergone IVF? If so, what does it feel like afterward?

Now, step related - we get to see the girls for Thanksgiving! I am so excited because she said No at first (even though we haven't seen them since July) but said if we bought them both new coats, outfits and shoes to send home we could see them. Unreasonable since we pay support, yes - will do what it takes to see them though.

Thanks everyone@!

The last post of yours I read before this was a couple months ago that said you woke up to find your husband gone...whats happened since then? What girls do you get to see for Thanksgiving?

I think it is wonderful you doing this for a couple that obviously can't have children themselves, how lucky they are to know someone as generous as you.
I would be very interested to see how you go with the IVF. BF and I will be looking into IVF next year so we can add our first child to our family of 3 skids.

Good luck with it all, and keep us posted.

Can you tell I forgot my password! I changed them all when that happened.
So, an update...we were able to work things out - we have SEPARATE checking accounts now and he has worked many many hours to catch all the bills up, finally! Sometimes it takes something drastic I guess but I got a quick lesson in learning forgiveness. In my other relationships, I just threw em out!
I haven't seen the SKIDS since end of June and she has finally agreed to let us see them for Thanksgiving (they live out of state)

So, life has smoothed back out. Smile And, I remember my new passwords Smile
