Update on Ass2

Well, Ass2 is now in a homeless shelter in BM's town. This place has , obviously A LOT of rules and regualtions naturally, so I, unlike my DH find it hard to feel hope that this is going to " save " the skid. ( I haven't voiced this to DH as , he will feel it is a personal attack on skid. )

Ass2 has written back to DH, but, well it's that time of Year almost, Birthdays and Christmas are approaching , so it's not unusal for DH to be contacted......

I know DH is believing most of what he is being told again, and well, that's his choice..... I'm not being pulled back in, this Ass2, now 20 has been looking for work for 4 years now, and not one part time job in all that time. This skid went from DH's CS ( paid until Xmas 2012 !!) straight onto unemployment benefit. I have not one bit of hopeful left for Ass2 , actions speak louder than words......

I honestly had no idea that you had a skid other than the one that is in the military??!

This one sounds like a real winner! Love how they manage to rear their ugly heads shortly before a gift giving occasion.

Not me Daizy !!

I have Ass1, 23 yrs old, still studying, ummmm, still not working even a few hours per week EVER, let alone the almost 6 months skid gets off per year when not in furthe Education. DH finished paying rent, etc for that one THIS May. Ass2 is the one mentioned above.....

ASS ..... Adult Sloth Skid .......

Sorry if it is unclear. Ass2 left higher education and was living in BM's country ( not the USA )

By the CS laws of that country CS was paid until the 19th Birthday ( skid had dropped out of school at 17 , BM somehow fobbed her way through still receiving CS)

CS stops, then BM pushes Ass2 to collect unemployment benefit, which is granted, you do not have to have had ANY work history to receive these benefits. Suddenly, ass2 becomes a big problem with no generous CS coming to her each month, a few months pass, and we end up here ass2 having spent four years now looking for work, now in homeless accomdation, still looking for work ...... Maybe that's the skid's "job"??
