Getting ready for the trip .....

So next month we will be going on the trip, I have talked about previously. I left the planning to DH as I sure as Hell after the last visit wasn't going to waste my time planning the ass out of another trip to ASSland !!! Lol !!

To be fair, DH got the message, and got it together, booked flights, accomodation, etc, etc, so no worries there...... EXCEPT ......

He still has no news about the Ass1 event we are going to .... Still no news about any tickets coming his way (he would be paying for these) or any news about the actual day, like is BM and the rest of BM gang going?? Which ceremony is Ass1 in ( there are like two or three on the same day ) actually in?? What is Ass1 doing afterwards, is there a dinner, party, or drinks going on ( probably nothing if Ass1 had to organise and pay for it ) Nothing, just no information ..... So at the moment it looks like DH will not be actually going, he will be paying thousands to sit in a Hall somewhere else and watch it as it is streamed live on the Internet :jawdrop:

I can hardly believe this is what will happen, but unless he hears in the next week, this is what we will be doing.
Now for me, it was already a non event, I am going for DH and that is all. ( it really feels like a long distance relative has invited us to attend an event, but you really don't care, etc, so just feel blah about going) It will be two hours or so of my life and then we move on ( we have organised some fun things just for us, too Wink )

Just updating my post. Well, it's official now, DH spoke to ass1 over the weekend, but DIDN'T ask about the event ?? WTF ???

I really cannot understand why, this so called big event which DH is spending thousands to go to, even though he has NOT been given a ticket for !! Hell, we could have sat at home and watched it being streamed live !! DH did say that BM is going ( don't know if she is bringing the sap bf, or another BM relative for support.... ??

DH THINKS we will be going out to dinner afterwards but he's just guessing as ass1 didn't say anything, maybe ass1 is doing something with the BM ?? My DH will be the LAST to be informed or included in it, believe me, unless, of course they expect him to pay !! }:)

DH still doesn't even know what time the event is, am I the only one who thinks this is like crazy ?? Is it just that ass1 cannot be bothered to tell him anything or wants DH's involvement to be very minimal ???

It's a puzzle, but it's not MY problem. I have a fabulous outfit to wear, have standby plans if this event is like really over and done with in like three hours for us ......
