Keeping this short cause I'm typing from my phone, but just wanted to share a good s-kid moment.
Sd8 called today to let us know when shed be arriving for the week, and told her dad she was making me a bracelet as a surprise Smile Shes awfully sweet sometimes! Well, often really. It's her week off school and I am actually looking forward to it. Here's hoping everyone has a good week!

Gotta love when the skids have those free moments to say what they really think on the phone without BM lurking around! Since she has a surprise for you, maybe you should plan something fun for the two of you!

When my SD was little, we used to dress up and talk in funny accents while I gave her manicures and pedicures. She's 18 now and will sometimes text and ask if "Miss Vera" (the playtime name I always used!) is available for nail appointments!

Thanks guys,
we did actually take a drive and a walk together and had breakfast together this morning, which was pretty awesome. I really do cherish the times when it is just her & me! When she's behaving anyway, lol!

Turns out she didn't have time to make me the bracelet she wanted to, maybe cause her mom got tired of her bringing me home a present for the third week in a row from Bm's house Smile

I am lucky though. She's a good kid.
