O/T--My little inspiration for those of us dieting!!
Yay!!! Im soo happy right now so I thought Id share my little happiness with all of you!!!
Drumroll please ....... Ive lost a total of 25 lbs so far on my diet!!! Ill tell ya- the BEST inspiration a girl can have to keep dieting!! Not only am I more then half way there- but I FEEL good about myself again!!!
Yay!!! Hope y'all have great weekends!!! We were supposed to have the skids this weekend- but they all have the flu and I guess BM & SD have it too!! Yikes!! So rather then share the germs- they are staying home at BMs!! So now DH & I get a long weekend to ourselves! Yay!!

Wow thats great!!! Good for you!! I joined WW on Jan 4th and so far I am down 13 lbs. Its hard but worth it. Are you doing any specific diet or counting calories? I want to lose another 15 or 20 lbs!

Thank you!!! Im doing the Atkins Diet. Mostly because its what I did with my whole office after my DD8 was born! I was back to think in like 60 days back then!! Now Im a bit older & its taking alot longer! Eh! But thats ok. I really really miss the encouragement that I had last time. I no longer work, due to a big back injury- so Im also not able to work out!! So its all diet at this point.
Im very happy tho!! Thank you & keep the hard work going my fellow dieters!!

I am addicted to carbs so I could never do that diet. My ideal life would be just to eat bread for every meal!! When we go out to eat, I have to have them take the bread basket away or I will eat the entire thing!!
Its hard to lose weight. Three years ago I worked my ass off exercising and counting calories and by June I looked great. I was down to 120 lbs! Somehow I gained it all back so here I am again. I have about 20 lbs to go. As long as I stick with it, I lose weight pretty fast.

I'm not sure how much I've lost so far-dont do the scale a whole lot-but I am following ww (loosely) and working out. Have been feeling great!

Awesome job! Congratulations! You should be super proud of yourself - losing weight is hard work! I'm on a diet right now, too, and I'm down 20 lbs so far of 60 that I'd like to lose. Well done, you!

Yay!! Im happy to hear other dieters stories & thoughts. It gives me more mental strength & inspires me to keep on going!!! Im so thrilled with my results so far!!! I noticed today that another jean size is getting to be baggy & loose!!! Made my whole day!!
My self confidence is rising & personally I think that in itself is a huge victory for me!!! Steplife has kinda sucked the life outta me the past year or so & obviously I turned to food as a comfort!! As things in my marriage & with my skids are getting bettter I titally believe that stress brought in my weight gain & a med i was on for my spinal nerve damaged can also cause weight gain.
Keep it up fellow dieters!! We GOT this!!!
I did Weight Watchers before
I did Weight Watchers before and lost 20 lbs. I gained 10 back and am doing it again. It seems harder this time though. I't not sure why?
I guess the older I am the harder it is to lose. I am 41 now. It is just so much more fun to just eat willy nilly!
And not to mention that every time a Step situation stresses me out I just want to eat junk and not care!
I started Atkins on 1/8 and
I started Atkins on 1/8 and have lost 22 lbs. Leaving for vacation next week so I'll be somewhat OK with how I look in a bathing suit! I want to keep going... I considered 20 lbs my short term goal weight. Now that I've passed that I want to keep working towards my long-term goal weight which will require me to lose 20 more lbs.
and P.S. -- for the first week of the diet I literally had dreams of eating an entire basket of those warm buttery rolls from Texas Roadhouse. I'm a carb junkie too!
