My 2 weeks vacation from skids ends on the 4th day....

Well... The skids were supposed to spend 2 weeks with bm and guess what?? She could not stay sober long enough to care for them! We got a call from the state police to come get them cuz she was to drunk to care for them. I guess 2 stints in rehab was not enough. Ugh I wish she would get her sh*t together. Hopefully the judge will not order them to go back. I want a break but not if the skids are in danger.....Ugh :?

Oh geez. I'm so sorry! We got a call simliar to that but it was from SD15 saying BM had gone off the deep end. It wasn't pretty.

What a loser. It bewilders me how courts will place kids in the care of a mother who is so destructive... but because she's the MOTHER, she needs to be in their life. Regardess if she puts them in danger.

Last time in court she got on the stand and told how she had been sober 6 months and was going to AA everyday. The judge told her he was skeptical but would give her another chance. Maybe the was the last one?? One would hope!
