2 days ago I asked my ss13 if he wanted to go get new shoes. I do continue to try... As usual he said NO. This morning he walks up to DH and says "Dad will you take me to get shoes today" I wanted to punch him in his face. What a brat! I am done!!! NEVER AGAIN!

yep - aren't they great.
i tried to help ss18 with his college financial aid. he seemed to understand but then DH gets a text that i'm confusing and frustrating the kid and to leave him alone about it. ok fine. skid comes this past weekend adn says his mom got him signed up and tells me all about the low interest and no payments HAVE to be made until 6 months after graduation - i just looked at him and said THAT'S WHAT I'VE TOLD YOU FOR THE LAST MONTH.

I would confront him and ask why he refused the initial offer.

My SS18 wants nothing to do with me.
The other day I heard him ask DW for a ride someplace, she told him she had a yoga class and to ask me. He decided he'd rather wait for the bus in the rain. Blum 3
