Tired of BM thinking she can fraud everyone and not be caught

I was going through the mail and found a letter from the IRS. I thought it was a bit early to have them knocking on my door since we haven't filed yet, but lo and behold, it was a letter informing us that someone else had also claimed the skids on their taxes. According to the letter, if we are legally able to claim these skids, we didn't have to do anything at all.

Sad for Hubby

This weekend visitation was ok, but not great. The skids came over and were so excited to show off their new purchases and electronics. Ok, whatever. Then they sat on the couch side by side and turned on their laptops and got on facebook. Then proceeded the littany: "Mommy did this, Mommy did that, Mommy plans to do this, Mommy said this, isn't that SO funny?" Oh please,

Sad and frustrating weekend

We got an irate call from BM following visitation. She proceeded to yell at Hubby for all the horrible things he did this weekend: ignoring his children, making them slave away on chores the whole time, not letting them call HER when they wanted to, and getting into a big fight with me right in front of them which ended up with us sleeping in separate beds. :jawdrop:

The evolution of this step-mom

I have been a member of ST for about three and a half years. When I joined I was angry and frustrated and had absolutely no one to talk to. ST and the wonderful people of ST gave me my sanity back. I found out that there were other people going through the same crap that I was. Not only was I not alone, but it gave me perspective as well. As horrible as I thought my situation was, there were so many people living a daily nightmare. ST gave me the perspective and encouragement I needed to work through my issues.
