My husband enables his children

To start off, my husband and i were married 4 years ago. He has 3 children from a previous marriage and i have 2 children from a previous marriage.
When we first started dating my husband was very much in tune with me, and he truly cared about me and my boys. But since we were married he now expects me to give up all of my activities and interest to raise his daughter (10year old). The problem is that she is the devil and has no respect for anyone or anything. She has killed every pet she has had, she pees on her bedroom floor when she is angry, she steals my jewlery, she throws away any clothes i buy her, and she treats me and my kids like we are trash. My husband refuses to help rectify this situation and makes excuses for her. The only time he reprimands her is when she directs her evilness towards him personally. I can't continue to live in a house full of so much hatred and anger. But at the same time i don't want to be divorced a second time. I don't know what to do anymore, It would be so much better if i was alone rather than go through the mental hatred in my house. Any advise would be greatly appreciated.

That girl definitely needs counseling. She kills her pets??? that's like the making of a serial killer!!! You owe it to yout own kids to get your husband on board in dealing with his kid's issues. I would give him two cards...a marriage counseling, family counseilng card and a divorce lawyer's card. He can choose which one. The thing is, once you draw that line in the sand, you have to stand by it or nothing will change.

I can't imagine myself living in a home that volatle let alone subject my kids to it.

The first pet was a guinea pig, which she "grounded" it from food and water so we took it away from her for a while, and once she earned the pet back she decided to feed it plastic knowing that it would kill the guinea pig. At the "mock" funeral she said she was glad it was dead, the second pet was a gold fish in which she said was too boring for her so she dumped the fish bowl onto her carpet and let the fish suffocate to death. and now she is trying to kill my (jack russel) dog because she hates him since he belongs to me and not her. Luckily dogs know when people are not nice and defend themselves and others.
