O/T -Suggestions for reading for 6th Grade girls?
Hello Ladies!
If any of you have some suggestions for books that you think my SD11 in 6th grade would like I would LOVE them. I also thought other members with girls (sd or bio) might be interested. SD likes to read but doesn't seek out books so I always try to find some to give her for Xmas and birthday instead of a pile of video games! I was thinking about getting her started on Nancy Drew because I know she hasn't read those but I can't really remember what age group those are for. I think it is hers? For anyone else looking for book suggestions, last year I bought SD the "Melanie Martin" books (I think there were four or five of them) and they are kind of like an adventure series and SHE LOVED THEM! I didn't have to "make" her read - she couldn't put them down so I *highly* recommend those. I have also gotten her the American Girl "guide" books like about babysitting, homework, middle school, etc... and she read and liked those (especially the babysitting) so I would recommend those to someone also.
