Thought I was home free this week since the step kids went with us. But even in their absence they know how to irritate me. I went into the bathroom that they use yesterday and I smelled a foul odor. Looking into the trash can, of course I found again used, unwrapped, feminine hygeine napkins. It is such a gross and foul odor. I nearly lost it!

Okay friends, I need some help! I need to know if I'm overreacting or if what I'm requesting is not out of the ordinary. So, as some of you may know, two of my step kids have been with us this past weekend. Their mom and sibling are coming home tomorrow from their out-of-town excursion. Apparently the ex will be picking the kids up while DH and I are at work. So up until now, his kids did not have a key to our house. So this morning DH asks me if we have an extra key to the house? I said not that I'm aware of why?

What a joyous couple days this has been.  So, I have been loving my new job.  And, unlike last week, DH seems interested and happy for me so far this week.  In fact, both Monday and Tuesday night I came home to dinner on the table.  Hell, last night he even made his own lunch for today.  I did tell him that I appreciated his help immensely.  I am cautiously optmistic that this will remain, although I certainly do not expect him to make dinner every night, etc. as he works a hard job too!  I am just so very grateful for his showing me that he is a little bit more engaged.

Oh my heavens!  I am shouting it from the rooftops!!!! I GOT A JOB!  I start tomorrow!  It is temporary for 30 days but can go to permanent if both myself and the employer agree it is a good fit.  It is right in my wheelhouse from what I used to do.  I could not be more excited, especially since DH and I had it out the other night.  He is adamant that he is taking a OT job next weekend so that he will be working that Friday night and all weekend WHILE TWO OF HIS KIDS ARE HERE!
