The Dynamics.....

I found that when I started writing more today that somethings seem like babble as you actually dont understand the dynamics of what I walked into. So I am going to try to explain a little better....

Jr Prom has arrived! I have taken the weekend off work, there is a 400$ pink gorgious princess gown in a plastic case hanging on the door frame in my smoke free and cat shit smelling free house, and every single detail is planned out, from her first eyebrow waxing to her first updo, to her pictures. We are going to the paternal grandmothers house and I have made the event so huge that her aunt and both uncles are driving into town just to see her get ready and spend the day with her before the big event!

The first issues..

So here we are with two girls, one a pre-freshman and one a pre-junior in high school. They are shy, and socially behind their peers. They have never addressed the grief of their mother and their father has been absent in their daily care. The first chore is to try to get to know them. (My children were out of the house by this time and totally accepting of the man that I was dating so I wont include them in much of the story...) We had our date nights and date nights with them, dinner and movies so on and so forth.

The beginning:

I raised three bio kids on my own for 17 years when I stumbled upon him! Although his idea of a romantic gift in a new air conditioner or an oil change, it is always done with the soul of a man taking care of his lady. It is always for my comfort or safety that makes those less than heart stopping gifts all the more precious. Through three years of courtship he brought me into faith, forgiveness and acceptance and became the ONE person in this world that loved me BEYOND anything I had ever experienced and I thank GOD daily for him.
