Earlier today i get this text from bm telling me that ss5 wants to spend fall break with us and that he really wants to see his daddy. She also stated that she tried contacting dh but that he didnt answer. So i Call him and tell him what going on. He said he never got a call or text. We did not get him this summer as I am pregnant and high risk as well as due any day and he lives 8 hours away and 95% of the trip is nothing around. But ss5 understands. He is excited. Well she also said something about uniforms and additional cost for school. So i told her we would see what was going on at the time with the baby due anytime. DH said we would make the trip happen but he agreed with the money thing. We dont mind helping at all but she always seems to ask at the most inconvenient times.

But tonight was the real surprise. She sent pictures to my phone because dh phone is junk when it comes to data things. The pictures were of ss5 new bed sheets. And a second one of a frame I made for him that had pictures of him and his brother (mine and dh eldest) and the four of us together. He keeps it by his bed. That almost sent me in tears, I figured that bm had somehow lost or threw it away. Like usual when it comes to things we give him or anything to do with us.
