Bad Morning

Ok so this is not about my kids persay. Its about my poor dog who i have had since she was born 5 years ago and she is my little girl as far as im concerned. So this morning I get this call from my mom, who has my pup because of a massive neighborhood infestation of ticks, telling me that mine and her dog were out back playing like normal. Well her dog got a little to ruff and got my pups leg. Her dog is 5 years older than mine and starting to go blind, so its no surprise she didnt see how close she got. She split my pups back leg about 10 inches. She is in surgery now and I am freaking out. My son 14 months is trying to comfort her and knows she is in pain. So im worried whats going to happen because my son and my ss who is not here at the time love our pup so much and are very close to her. They will be devistated if something happens to her. They just lost thier grandpa they are close to a few weeks ago, I can not put them through losing someone else they love. Ahhhh.... I need then to call and tell me she is ok and i can bring her home. Well back to my moms cause of the ticks. Her poor dog felt so bad when she realized she hurt mine she tried to comfort her and tried to help her.

We had to have our German Shepherd put down last year. It was extremely hard on all of us. He was a rescue with a history of health issues (including heartworms), and he got bloat. The vet wasn't convinced he would survive the surgery to correct it and recommended we put him down. He was only 7 years old and it was all so sudden.

Skids were heartbroken .. it always sucks .. I hope your pup is okay.
