a nice surprise
well FSS has moved in and signed the contract that I wrote up.
and it has been a very nice transition.
he has followed the rules and although he still does not have a job he is helping around the house.
all the anxiety I had for this living situation has been relieved although my mom was nice enough to point out it could be just the "honeymoon" period.
Thanks MOM!
LOL
it is nice to be wrong sometimes.

I would have to say yes! It makes sense doesnt it like alot of us parents feel/know, kids need boundries, and I think you mentioned to me one time that now FSS has a reason to say no to all the bad behavior, maybe he did not have the ability to say no to his peers now he can say hey I can't cuz they will kick me out or whatever.
the parents and step can be the fall guy and I am ok with that.
I hope i dont regret this but I am proud of him.

Hopefully, it will last!
Good luck...and good for you for making it happen. Kids need boundaries. Did anyone ever see the 20/20 episode where they put preschool kids into a fenced in playground and they were playing everywhere, climbing the fence..having fun. When they took the fence away, kids huddled up and played together in the middle of the playground. Boundaries = true freedom. Boundaries baby!
thanks
I need all the luck I can.
he has been a problem but I am happy so far with the way things are going ..
no I did not see that episode very interesting
thanks for the input stepL
