A SKid free weekend. In fact, 2 SKid free weekends in one month!!

So, today is my birthday. I'm a young'in so I won't disclose how old I've turned, by my OH has been fantastic today. He surprised me with a dozen roses (pink, red and white) and is taking me out to dinner in a couple hours. My coworkers brought my brownies and cupcakes and I got a few nice cards in the mail.

The best part is, we have a wedding to go to this weekend (with an open bar!) and SKids are NOT invited. So we get to go out and dress up, stay in a hotel out of town. I can't wait. And even better, the weekend after next is my friend's going away party and I convinced OH to attend with me. Oh, and it is also an adult only party. Haha! October is looking to be a bright month. This is the first time in 3 years that the SKids have not been around for my birthday. I feel so lucky lol. Today is amazing!
