We received a copy of SS(10) progress report the other day, and as of now he is failing badly in everything. He has a 35 in MATH, How is it possible to even make that up to barely passing.

SS has been here with us since Thanksgiving mainly becasue BM insist that she is moving at some point and has packed up her house. Not sure that I buy this but it doesn't matter what I think when it comes to HER.

He is failing mainly becasue he refuses to do homework and when he was with BM she never asked if he had any, therefiore he never bothered, his also has 10 unexcused absent days. The school sent a letter to DH and BM with the date of a required phone conference for January 5. All of these days are the fault of BM. 

I am amused by all of this becasue the judge thought it in the boys best intrest to have him stay with BM during the school year and it has been a huge mistake. He doesn't stand a chance of succeeding in anything while he lives with her becasue she is so wrapped up in her own little world with her own issues that as long as he is not bothering her or her BF he must be ok. 

I wouldn't be surprised if the school wants him out becasue of the problems. I feel bad for him because he is a child and if doesn't do something to help him he is going to fail in life and that is sad.
