thought i would update on my brother and his divorce.
I posted about how my brother had been married for 6 moths and she left him but wanted a lot on spousal support and she wanted him to sell his truck and give her half the money.
He counter her with all the money she spent on getting hair and nails done and the money she took out of his account without him knowing. He also said that she quit her job and he told her not too. He then found out she said she was preggo but lied. She dropped the whole thing and just wanted her name back.
I think she was trying to get all she could out of my brother and thought that if she married him she would be set for life then when called on it she ran.

That is so sad. I am sorry your brother had to endure this. I went through a period of time with a user like that and he drained my daughter's trust account and everything else he could get his hands on. (without my knowledge)
It makes you wonder what we did to deserve karma like that. It does get better though. I am with a wonderful man now.

Yes she is leaving him alone. What set the whole thing off was that she kept wanting him to take his kids to a counselor and when the counselor said there was nothing wrong with them just normal kids she went off saying they need to be locked up til they were 18.
Yes they have some issues with their mom in jail and things like that but for them to locked up til they are 18 nope! The kids are only 9 and 7. They need some help dealing with mom in jail yes but they are not babied like the kids we read about here. But the kicker is she has a boy from before and wanted bro to be his dad and it be just her kid only. That was when bro told her he will not ship his kids off and daddy to her kid. She left at that point.

What is it with women who expect their new SOs/husbands to play daddy to their kids and toss the bios to the side?
Thank goodness your brother didn't fall for that. His kids are lucky to have a dad like him.

I agree disneyfan they are lucky to have their dad and they don't hang him like i have about here in fact they hang on my dh lol. They are kids for the most part not saying that they are angels b\c they are not . But they are by no means bad enough to be locked up til they are 18.

Just an example of bros parenting, he has a 16 yr old from his first marriage and she just posted on Facebook how much she hates her phone so what did my bro say? He told her he can get her some soup cans and some string. Lol love it. }:)
