pissed at the school right now!

Ds came home and told me that one of his friends brought a knife and a throwing star to school. He got suspended for that. Then they brought my son into the office b/c someone told them that ds and his friend that suspended was plotting against the school. Ds told them that they were not and didn't even know he brought the knife and throwing star to school. The principal said he believed him as he has never been in trouble and he has never been known to lie.

Now the thing is that the school never called me. Never told me a thing about this. I should have been contacted period! What should I do here? Should I call the school and ask why they didn't call me? My son is not plotting anything he is a good kid plus he has no access to anything at our house as we don't have anything of that nature, no guns ect. Plus he wouldn't have told me what happened if he was plotting anything.

Oh yes. Climb the school's ass and have your attorney threaten a lawsuit against the district if they ever fail to contact you prior speaking to your DS about anything not related to academics or in school behavior ever again.

I love it when the supposedly competent school leadership pulls their stupid shit. Scaring the shit out of them is so much fun.

What pisses me off most is that we have always been very supportive of school administration and teachers when it comes to our kid's behavior at school. However, when these supposed professionals do stupid crap, bringing down the wrath of Rags is an absolute and I make damned sure they learn from the experience.

For adults who are supposedly education professionals as an industry they seem to have hard time learning.

This is not the first time this has happened like when my dd passed out in school they did not call me. Dd told me what happened.

I am going to, trust me they will hear from purple tomorrow! Even dh was pissed they didn't call. Dh was mad b/c he said ds is the most passive child he has ever met and that they even accused him of such nonsense! On top of that this boy and my son don't hardly even talk to see each other outside of school. This year this kid has been to my house a total of 2x while my son has not been to his house! If anyone is plotting anything it is the other boy as he is a weird kid all together.
