Well this was our first week of the summer with all 3 kids (BS6 and 10 SD6) We picked SD up on Friday and then took them all to Idilewild park and Storybook Forest on Sat with the in laws and had a great time. DH had to work on Monday so since I was off all the kids stayed with me, I found a sitter to come to my house for the summer so all 3 stayed with her while DH and I worked on Tue and Wed after work on Wed SD became homesick and was crying so I tried to call DH and he had no cell service so I made the decision to let her call and talk to her Mom, she didn't answer but called right back and was some what pleasant and even said thank you for lettind SD call her. Then SD had a Dr apt today so I just figured that DH would drop her off to her mom on his way to work at 7am but I was wrong he actually asked me to pick her up on my lunch (I work at 5am so by 9am it is my lunch time) and drop her off to her mom and he would have her drop her back off to me after the apt. (I have never been allowed to drop off or pick SD up) I told him that would be fine. So on my way to pick her up DH calls and tells me he has to go out of town for work this afternoon and says so that I don't have to deal with his ex on Friday getting SD home he is just going to let her keep her after I drop her off today. That is fine one less thing I have to deal with on Friday. So I take SD to her moms work and she was pleasant. Maybe she is finally relizing I am not a royal bitch.
This week went so well that when my ex called and asked if he could have the boys tonight for an extra night I thought what the heck I would spend the evening relaxing alone and gave him the extra night.
Just thought we could all use a good story for a change. Have a great weekend!!
